I need a support letter for school/university/work

You can request a support letter by emailing reception, or directly during a session. However, we cannot provide a letter until we have had an appointment to discuss it; we require one of our psychologists to speak to you/your young person about the request to:

  • ensure it is appropriate for the psychologist to provide a letter

  • check we have all the information needed

  • confirm with you/your young person exactly what information we have consent to share.

Please be aware we require at least 2 weeks notice to provide a letter of support, and cannot provide letters to clients who are not currently engaged in therapy (i.e. past/discharged clients).

We want to make sure we are doing the best we can for our clients. This means that when writing letters of support, we are dedicating the necessary time and thought into making sure that we are writing a supportive letter which also meets ethical, legal, and professional standards.
